Fog lights installed

So I spent the weekend installing the fog lights. I say the weekend because I took many short/frequent breaks. The over all process took me about a bit under 5 hours due to having to run to Harbor Freight, locate tools that were miss-placed and such.

The process itself is a patients tester if you decide to install the fogs with the bumper on. The only snags I ran into was the electrical, and actually trying to get all the screws on to mount the fogs. If you have tiny hands, then this will be cake walk. Mine however, are not small. So this proved to  be a very difficult installation for me. Next time I'll likely just remove the bumper.

Result was worth it though. Here are a few pics of the process. ( I apologize, as this isn't really a write up, nor did I take as many pictures as I wanted. Was focused on trying to get the task done as quickly as possible )

First in order was removing the shield under the car. I must say, it really does it's job well because everything above it was very clean. Made sure to re-install it back on once I was finished.

I decided to to the electrical next which involved running the harness through our certain places of the car. The most difficult task here was plugging in the positive to the correct spot fuse box. They call it a "duck bill" connector. I probably spent a good hour trying to get it inside the fuse box.

Testing fitting

Powered on! ( Did I mention getting it connected to the fuse box was a PITA? )

At this point. It was pretty much putting everything back together. ( I forgot to plug the outside Temp Sensor, so I had to remove the shield again to plug it back in! )

 Finished results.
