July Update

Just a couple of updates. Nothing huge;



My girlfriend purchased a 2013 Chevy Sonic Turbo. Pretty much the same car I have, except much lighter. Same engine, 1.4L.



Both cars after being washed and detailed. Spent about an hour waxing them afterwards for a nice glossy and glass finish

Decided to plasti-dip the Chevy Emblem from gold to white. Added LED bulbs to the license plate. Also plasti dipped the lower portion of the bumper black to give it that de-fusser look which I think looks great. The car should have really come from factory this way.

Waxed the car with Turtle Wax Ice. I realize this may not give the best results compared to Pro products out there, but this does a great job for short term protection. It's quick and easy to apply.

A couple days later, decided to dip the emblem, and do the bottom half of bumper.

Update on ownership

Update so far on the Cruze.

So I've driven the car for a total of 4k miles now. I'm loving every bit of it. Very agile around town, and has enough kick to get you in and out of traffic. If throttled correctly and timing the automatic down shifts, you can merge or pass other cars on the highway with no issues.

My total mileage average is about 27 on the dash display, which probably results into 25-26 actual over-all MPG. That's pretty good considering my driving style., and A/C is on about 85% of the time.

Future Modifications

Below are a few of the things to be done to the Chevy Cruze. This car will have light, and tasteful modifications. This car will be a daily commuter, so I will need to keep it reliable and comfortable. So unfortunately, no drop of any kind for it. Despite how nice it looks slightly lowered.

So, on to the 2015 to do list.

• Wipers ( Preferably Bosch or Rain-X )
• Wheels Akita AK77 18x7.5 5x105/5x112 +40mm Black/Milled Wheel Rim
• Gloss Black vinly roof wrap

Changed oil at 38,907 miles.

Mobil 1 Extended 5W-30 With Chevy A/C Delco Filter

Then afterwards decided it was the perfect time to wash it.

Time to Cruze
